Barcelona is an incredible city with lots of touristic spots and funny activities. In this vacantion I visited many places and met new people.
We visited the Zoo from Barcelona and I can definitely say that is huge, but I’m not sure if we saw all of it. It has approximately 500 species from all over the world. There I even assisted to my first acvatic show, the dolphins are so cute.
The next destination was the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The construction of this cathedral began more than a century ago, actually… 136 years ago. The construction will only be completed in 2032. It’s a real masterpiece that it’s worth to be seen. Unfortunately, the queue was so long that we haven’t waited anymore and left.
While we were on our way to the Barcelona Aquarium we’ve even seen the port. The Aquarium it’s one of the most visited places from Barcelona, with over 11.000 marine species. It’s one of the most important marine exhibitions from the entire world.
Port Aventura is just one hour away from Barcelona. That park is giant with different theme parks and it’s one of Spain’s most popular tourist areas.
The National Palace on Montjuic Hill has an unique architecture. We saw a part of the Catalunya Art Museum exhibition, and the view from the top of the palace is splendid. I’ve even seen the Barcelona Magic Fountains of Montjuic that are in front of the palace.
However, the most dramatic activity we had in Barcelona, if I can say so, was at Cirque du Soleil. It’s the most famous circus in the world. It was an unique experience. Some of the most talented people in the circus world are at Cirque du Soleil to always impress the audience.
At the end of the holiday, the last dinner was pretty special because it was on a terrace while the sea port delighted us with its view.
In conclusion, Barcelona is an incredibly delightful city to visit.
